Chip Disposal | Pump Systems
The ARP pump installations can be used in all kinds of metal-cutting production facilities and provide safe, fast and clean clearance of the chips as a result of their flexible, innovative design and the extremely low space requirement.
System design of the ARP pump technology
The chips and cooling lubricant reach the pumping station via a chip conveyor and a lifting pump or an overflow pipe system.
Chips are pumpable below a length of approx. 25 mm (without an inclination to tangle).
This property is provided in the case of most steel chips from milling, cutting or deburring machines as well as in the case of many grey cast-iron machining operations. Chips from turning or boring operations have to be broken up in most cases. Size reduction takes place in a cutting unit arranged above the pumping station.
The pumping station is used to transport pumpable metal chips together with the cooling lubricant through a pipe to a collecting conveyor or a filtration plant. It is supplied by a chip conveyor, a supply channel or direct insertion.
ARP plant engineering for pump systems
Our engineering department will solve your problems with individual, practical designs: We supply development, engineering, optimization, modification, modernization, or system extension with expertise from one source.
Needless to say, we also undertake the complete construction of the installation. Starting with the pipe systems up to and including the control engineering.
Pumping stations for chips and grinding sludge
For the pump systems, ARP offers individually optimized pumping stations for chip disposal systems and abrasive engineering practice which have been designed for the respective task.
ARP pumping stations operate extremely reliably and have more than proved themselves in tough everyday practical conditions.
